After many hours of wondering and lots of signs from the universe that I should become a dolphin trainer (I mean, how often do you get your first debit card with dolphins on it and are sent a tweet about saving dolphins in Japan IN THE SAME DAY?), I have decided to become one!
I have read all about the steps one should undertake to achieve something in this particular area of study and decided it's best to start with getting to know something about marine life! Hence the marine zoology diploma I signed up for a week ago! If you're interested in any way, join me on my journey to explore the marine life! I can promise nothing but excitement! :)

How did life evolve in oceans?
I'm currently completing one of the six modules of my course and I cannot even express how immensly excited I am! I mean, the original idea of me becoming a dolphin trainer was to get to know as much as I possibly can about dolphins! Never ever did I realise though, that starting with getting to know marine life in general and how it evolved is such an amazing thing to do! It's all exciting and immensly interesting, learning about black and white smokers, giant clams, tube worms and vent crabs. About bacteria that can colonise hydrothermal vents all over the world using whales' carcass and how they cooperate with all the aforementioned organisms to form life by chemosynthesis, without the energy from the sun!
I have not completed this module yet, so will update you on all of the details later! For now though, I'd like to make a list of books definitely to be read alongside the course I'm doing!
