Good morning and welcome to yourbrooklyn.blogspot.com!
Joining us today is a very special guest, Alex. Alex is from Wales.
Hello Alex!
Alright, how's it going?
I'm very well, thank you. How do you like being in Poland?
Well Miss Asia, I'm very glad you asked that. I actually love it here, it's very pretty in the snow although it is really quite fantastically cold! But it's a really lovely country, and Szczecin is a great city.
It is my belief that the cold in here stems from the fact that the weather is convinced we are all polar bears. Would you agree?
Absolutely, someone messed up really badly somewhere I think! Pretty sure that it's like 25 degrees at the North Pole, not cool (haha). I would try and get in touch with the weather to find out just what the hell it think's it's playing at, but I only have an email address and I think their internet is down or something. Maybe because of the cold.
Splendid! I wish you the best of luck! For now though, do tell us something about yourself.
Just one thing? But there's so much to know... Just to tease you into wanting to find out more, I will say that I am a little bit scared of wasps. Not life-threatening fear, just concern as to what exactly they want, getting all up in my face like that. I don't have any sugar, leave me alone!
A quick question before we move to the awesome songs' break: why are you wearing matching socks today? Seems unusual.
I actually don't know how or why I am wearing matching socks today, frankly it frightens me that such a thing could happen by accident, it's a very improbable occurence when you think about it. Perhaps the universe is trying to tell me something? For the record, yes wearing odd socks has long been the key to my success I think. Something rebellious about it?
I'm sure there is. Now, the awesome songs break! It was created by our guest today. Enjoy!
Back in the studio now, hope you enjoyed the break. Alex...
Yes Asia?
What is your opinion on the Welsh government implementing a minimum price on alcohol?
Well, to be honest, I'm not quite sure what they are trying to achieve with that. They say it will curb binge drinking and alcoholism, but those who are drinking such huge amounts won't be put off by what is in reality a negligible price increase in most cases. It punishes the majority, I think there are better ways to tackle the problem.
Speaking of better ways to tackle problems, what is your attitude towards using a fork instead of a comb to brush hair?
I think that's a pretty sound idea to be honest, it's quicker and easier, I mean who has time to find a comb? It could be anywhere, but if you need a fork, boom, it's in the kitchen just where it always is, sorted!
Would you apply the same way of thinking to using chopsticks instead of cutlery?
I hate chopsticks. The least effiecent way imaginable of getting food towards ones mouth. Not even in the mouth, just near it, and then all over the clean shirt you put on to go to the chinese restaurant. They suck! Probably just snap in your hair. Useless things. The answer has been censored. Chopsticks are awesome.
One last question before we commence beer drinking time. It is believed that India will soon take over the world with their incredible Bollywood movies industry*. What are your thoughts on that?
At the moment I know very little about the Bollywood industry and its many films, though I fear in the near future I will be forced to sit through a lot of them, so I had better get used to the idea... They seem pleasant enough though, lots of happy singing and all that so it can't be all bad. I suppose a billion people plus one can't be wrong, can they? Plus I think they release a new film every 6 hours or something, so whatever happens pretty soon all that will exist in the world is Bollywood films.
Thank you Alex from Wales for being here with us today.
Oh that's quite alright, the pleasure has been all mine I assure you! Thanks very much for having me, it's been a delight. I look forward to spending more time here in the future...
